The president of SOS Racisme, Dominique Sopo said Thursday on Europe 1 that the association could offer a deal to candidates in the presidential election of 2012, as this had been done by Nicolas Hulot in 2007. "What we will do in terms of questioning of presidential candidates is not decided yet but we will probably share with many other associations," he said.
"Full of measures may be proposed"
We must "ensure that the presidential campaign takes place in an environment where those who claim to defend republican values really defend them, particularly those of equality," said Dominique Sopo. The president of the association against racism made particular reference to several proposals that could be made to candidates as "the introduction of anonymous CVs of discrimination in employment, housing applications anonymize HLM".
Dominique Sopo, however, said he did not intend to make these proposals to Marine Le Pen. "I think it is not part of the arch Republican. His speech is hypocritical Republican", he justified.
